A REAL PASSION FOR WINE

 

Sébastien Laffitte makes the legend lie. No, it did not fall very small into an oak barrel. As a child, Sébastien more often found himself with a lamb in his arms in the Ariège mountains than in the vineyards.

 

As a teenager, Sébastien chose a precise and structuring profession and training : hotel school. There, he obtained his CAP and BT diplomas as a cook and his teachers discovered he had a gift: an exceptional nose!

 

He then took part in numerous competitions which he won and very quickly he was hired as a sommelier by the greatest : Alain Ducasse, the Louis XV of Monte-Carlo, but also at Pierre Gagnaire, at Crillon in Paris ...

 

Then come new challenges and desires : how to work with the material, create and invent while staying in its field.

 

He made it : by creating a first wine and making it appear on the menu at beautiful tables. The Kaprius, praised by many critics, was born.

 

 

So why stop there?

 

The idea of ​​By Sébastien Laffitte Sommelier was launched. It is under this brand that he now develops a range of gourmet wines with original characteristics that appeal to both individuals and professionals.
